'DIANA RICHARDSON'
Diana became the club captain at the beginning of the 2010-2011 season and proved why she is worthy of the captancy with a brillant individual performance during the season, which also earnt her the "Player of the Year Award". Diana is very much one of those players who doesn't believe in loosing. She is a player who puts all her effort and determination into every game she plays, with her own unique one handed tackle which has proved very strong and hard for the opposition to pass her in the heart of the Huddersfield defence. Well Done Di from all the players!!!
Katy Armitage came away with the 'Player of the Match' Award. After each game the players vote for their player of the match and this year Katy won the most. Katy is a universal player who will play in any position she's asked to play, but her best tallent is as a forward poaching the goal line and running the flanks which are assets which won Katy a number of the Player of the Match votes throughout the season and the overall 'Player of the Match Award'.
Louise Bull picked up the 'Top Goal Scorer' award for the 5th season running, but it was a close call this year with Sarah Gledhill only being one behind at the end of the season. Louise is a player who finishes the Huddersfield attacks with powerful shoots on goal and neat stick skills in the D producing a high scoring tally.
